| This is the topic in which almost anything goes! Here, you can share tidbits of information about yourself or talk about whatever subject that comes to mind. However, this is a very general topic, and any material will likely be touched very lightly. If you want to explore an idea or thought in-depth, you should create a topic for that purpose. Have fun! | |

Sorry I haven't been on the forum for a while; I was really busy finishing up exams at school. Well, anyway, school's over for me and I am free! Woot! I promise to become active in the community again.
So, how has everyone been?

| Hey, Pripyat. Let's hope we can get everybody back on track with the forum. I guess we all just decided to take a long break from the community. However, I'm back and ready for action! Our first mission is to increase traffic to make sure the site doesn't wither away and fall silent again. | |

| Apparently, site traffic has been increasing. And I was surprised to log on and find 3 other people browsing the forum. Anyway, I love the new forum theme and logo! That should provide some aesthetic pleasure for our users. Oh, and good job with the new blog too. I think it looks really nice. That essay on nuclear energy was fascinating, btw. | |

| 안녕하세요 (hello), everyone! Today, after being offline for over 2 months, I decided to check out the site. It required a few attempts to remember the URL, but I proved to be successful in finding DEBATES again. And to my surprise, it had been revived! I was expecting the most recent posts to have been made in June, but I was in for a pleasant discovery. And there's a blog now? I'll have to check that out. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to you all, including the two new faces, and I hope I'll stay on track with routine posting. P.S. My greeting's Korean, if you'd like to know. | |

| Oh, wow, so we have a Korean speaker? Or did you just pop that in a translator? I'm stuck inside today because there's this raging, torrential thunderstorm outside right now. Oh, boy - I hate thunder! It's scared me half to death pretty much my entire life. How's the weather at the moment where you guys live? | |

| Do you really hate thunder? Gee, I love it! It creates a brilliant scene when you have electric discharges accompanied by the rumble of thunder. Although, I do see where you're coming from: When the heart of the storm is directly above you, it can tend to get pretty frightening. I enjoy rainy and cloudy days as well, just because they're more relaxing and quiet than days when the Sun is beating down on you. But if there is a consistent streak of cloudy/rainy days, they become very monotonous.
Where I live, it's partially cloudy right now.

| If you're wondering why I haven't yet posted a comment on the DEBATES Blog, it's partially due to the fact that I presently do not have a Google account and also because I'm incredibly lazy. It seems that Google is buying up everything though, so I should consider possibly activating an account in the near future. Anyway... WEEKEND! Does anyone have any plans? | |

| That's totally all right about the commenting on the blog, squashbanana. I can understand what you mean by your controlling inertia. I often suffer from the same problem. I just hope you realize that I can't give you those 100 points unless you do post a comment. No corruption here! My week went very well; although, I did fall ill on Wednesday and didn't return to school until today. But I was fully capable of keeping up with the workload while I was sick, thankfully! I went back to school today to find that a project's due date was inconveniently scheduled in my absence and that a my math teacher had prepared a quiz for everyone on a Friday (a quiz I didn't know about). At least it's not counting towards my report card, because I was not ready for it. In addition, I had to do an oral presentation on Greek mythology for my English class, but that went really well. How was your week? Oh, and this weekend, I don't have anything planned, yet I do believe that I will end up hanging out with my friends. What do you have planned for this weekend? | |

| *sighs* The one time you desire corruption... xD My week was pretty basic, pretty average, and pretty boring, lol. It just involved the normal studying, getting up late, and embarassing myself doing stupid things at school. Just talking about my week right now is making me feel bored and uncomfortable. This weekend... this weekend... Hmm... *checks planner* Nope! Just as I thought! Nothing planned. Maybe I'll just get together with my mate and watch a couple of flicks. | |

| Hey, guys! How y'all doin'? I hope you don't mind if I join in on this conversation. ;P My week was fairly decent, and was similar to squashbanana's equally uneventful week, really. Although, this weekend my gramma's coming over from Canada and will spend a week with us here! It'll be so much fun; I haven't seen my gramma in forever, and she's the nicest lady I've ever met. Oh, and her cookies! Om nom nom! | |

| That sounds fun. I hope you have a nice time and that your grandmother enjoys her visit! My grandparents aren't very distant my house, but strangely, we don't see them that often. Meh, whatever. | |

| Ah, really? My grandparents reside in Northern Ireland, so I have to travel there every once in a while to see them. It becomes seriously irritating after a while, to the point where I dread seeing them. It cuts into my vacation time, to be brutally honest. You know how grandparents get increasingly boring over the years, right? Yeah, well, that's happening to them. You're pretty lucky that you can see your grandparents whenever you like (and for as long as you like). | |

| Perhaps I'm a little lucky, as I don't have to travel long distances to visit my grandparents, yet I hate how frequently they sometimes wish to see my family. Especially during the school week when I have homework that needs completion! But it also makes a decent excuse for not finishing the homework. Hmm, I really should give my friends a call. I haven't seen them all weekend. Then again, I do have a small pile of homework sitting in front of me. Eh, whatever. I'll do it tonight or on the bus tomorrow morning — I have better things to do. | |

| You still have homework to do too, Admin? Well, now I know I'm not the only one... I tend to put things off till the last minute, which I really should stop doing. It's the beginning of the school year after all, and now's the time to change my habits.
Though for now, I'm just relaxin', half-watching Full Metal Alchemist and half-browsing the Web. I have the shivers too, which can only mean one thing: autumn's here! I can't wait until the trees are multicolored! <3
