For the most part, man's mission is no longer to survive in the wilderness but is to achieve financial success. Our species has switched from brawn to brains in the short time we've existed on Earth. One indicator of somebody's mental acuity is called an intelligence quotient, or IQ, which can be used to predict a person's future success. However, some people argue that it is inaccurate for ignoring certain types of intelligence, which therefore renders it meaningless. Additionally, they assert that an IQ assessment measures only mental performance and not mental capacity.
